Welcome to River Bicycles! If your bike needs maintenance, please call us to schedule a Safety Check and Repair Evaluation. We will provide a day and time for you to drop off your bike.
Our team will inspect your bike and provide a repair estimate within 3 business days of drop off (excluding weekends). You can either approve the quote or discuss the work with us. Work will only begin after your approval. Once the repairs are completed, we will notify you so you can pick up your bike.
If we are unable to start repairs within a week of estimate approval, we will ask you to retrieve your bike and bring it back when parts and mechanics are available. Please note that we have limited space for long-term storage, which is available for a daily fee. If there are any unexpected issues while we are waiting on parts or completing repairs, we will update you promptly.

| Overhaul Rebuild & Tune-Up | Standard & Detailed Tune-Up, Bike Detailing Plus: -Remove all components -Inspection and installation of any needed replacement components (headset, hubs, bottom bracket, seat post, saddle, vertical balancing of wheels. ▪Package pricing includes Standard or Partial Internal Cable Routing Only. ▪Extra hourly fees may be incurred based on the complexity of the task. |

We cannot promise to take in your bike or a fast turnaround time if a time slot was not booked ahead. ▪Any repairs or work will only begin once customer approves a cost estimate and timing for work. ▪There is a fee of $80 for the Safety Check and Repair Evaluation, this fee is refundable only if the suggested repair services are executed by River Bicycles. ▪Kids bicycles (20″ wheel or smaller) Safety Check and Repair Evaluation is $30. ▪Labor to install any additional parts other than listed in a package is not included. ▪Cost of parts is not included in these prices. ▪Pick up bike within 14 days after completion of service or a storage fee will apply. |
Estimates: The client is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes levied on the transaction as described in the estimate. No tax exemptions will be recognized unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided. The price named in the estimate is an approximation of the project requirements. The actual cost may change after we start working on a project, any unexpected additional work not covered in the estimate will incur additional charges. In the case of a drastic / significant increase, River Bicycles will stop work and send a revised estimate for approval prior to finalizing the work. Any changes requested by the client to quantities, specifications, schedule, or other aspects of the services described in the estimate are not binding unless accepted by River Bicycles in writing. Any requested changes may lead to additional charges, which the client agrees to pay when requesting and approving them. The evaluation costs are only valid for 60 days from the date of the estimate. If the work has not started within this time frame, we may need to review the estimate and provide a new estimate before beginning the work.
Datelines: The completion of your bike tune-up will depend on the workload at the shop. We will do our best to provide an estimated date, but delays may occur. We cannot guarantee a specific completion date due to potential delays with parts or other factors out of our control. If there is a delay of more than a few days, we will promptly communicate this to the customer.
Payments: Payment is required in full upon completion of delivery or services, unless otherwise agreed upon before work begins.
Products: When using our products, there is a possibility of getting injured or facing risks commonly associated with outdoor sports. It is important to always wear proper safety gear such as gloves and a helmet. By using our product, you are accepting the risk of potential injuries and acknowledging that River Bicycles is not liable for any harm or damages resulting from its use. Make sure to follow all relevant laws when using this product in public areas to avoid any accidents or injuries to others.
Bicycle Purchase for a Sale or Build: The Shop is not responsible for manufacturing defects, damages, or issues related to bicycles or bike parts. Please refer to the respective manufacturer warranties for concerns.
E-Bikes: Due to the complexity of e-Bikes, we will only provide electrical diagnostic services on models offered by our manufacturers. However, we are happy to assist with mechanical services on non-supported brands. Lithium-ion Non UL certified batteries will be removed from the bike and send home with the customer.
Indemnification: Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless River Bicycles its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, costs, and expenses, including attorney fees, arising from use of the services and products provided by the Shop.
