Refund & Return Policy for Bicycles: Return bicycle to River Bicycles within 14 days and we’ll replace it if another bike is available, or give you a refund, subject to inspection. Items must be in like-new, unused condition, undamaged and include the original sales invoice or receipt, Returns Form, packaging, manuals, and accessories. Proof of purchase is required. All items on Sale are not eligible for returns.
Shipping and assembly fees are non-refundable, and refunds may be reduced depending on the damage or reason for return.
You can return bicycles purchased online or in-person to the Shop. If you ship items back to the Shop, you will be responsible for the cost.
Credit will be given back to the original payment method used for the purchase. If a gift card was used, it will be credited first.
e-Bikes must have less than 10 miles to be considered unused.

Items Ineligible for Returns: The item was not purchased from River Bicycles
The item was purchased more than 14 days ago
The item has been used or damaged and not in new condition
The item was bought during a Sale
The item was damaged by improper use or accident
The item is a completed Trade Up bike

Gear, Electronics, Accessories and Apparel Returns: Unused items may be returned to River Bicycles in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Receipt is required for returns. All items on Sale are not eligible for returns and cannot be returned.

Items Ineligible for Returns: The item was not purchased from River Bicycles
The item was purchased more than 30 days ago
The item does not have original packaging. hang tags or care labels
The item has been used or damaged and not in new condition
The item was bought during a Sale
The item was damaged by improper use or accident

Connecticut General, Statutes Chapter 859, Lost and Unclaimed Property: Sec. 50-2. Disposition of goods not perishable. All goods not perishable, left with any person or upon any public wharf or highway, and all goods, other than personal baggage of passengers, which are left at any railroad station or in any railroad car or carriage, and whose owner is unknown or neglects to take them away for six months from the time when they were left, shall be advertised one month in a newspaper published in the county where such goods were left. If the owner thereof does not take them away within such month, they may be sold and the proceeds disposed of in the manner provided in section 50-1. (1949, Rev., S. 7287; 1961, P.A. 540, S. 29.)
